Obel consists of a 88.31m 28 storey residential tower plus an additional mixed use development and is set to become the tallest residential building in Ireland, dominating the Belfast skyline.

Blackbourne secured the £6 million Mechanical and Electrical contract for work on the luxury building which contains 233 high spec apartments . The work includes extensive mechanical services, heating, smoke control, ventilation etc plus the complete electrical works with Blackbourne rising to meet the special challenges associated with providing effective services in such a tall building.

The company is currently on schedule and the project is due to complete in July 2010.
