Blackbourne Integrated M&E put on their running shoes to take part in the Belfast Marathon on Monday 3rd May. The Blackbourne team ran the 26 mile marathon in 3 hours and 44 minutes to help raise over £500.00 for the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children via local charity Cash for Kids. Cash for Kids was set up to offer support to disadvantaged children in Northern Ireland. All funds raised by Blackbourne will directly benefit children and young people aged 0-17 with a focus on alleviating disability, combating illness and improving quality of life.
Keith McGarvey, of Blackbourne said "Over the last few months we have been training hard and we really wanted to take on the challenge and raise some money for chartiy at the same time." Blackbourne Integrated M&E, Finance Executive, Catherine said: "We really appreciate any donations made to our organisation and are extremely grateful to everyone at Blackbourne who were involved."
