Essentia is a specialist consultancy that helps public and private sector organisations maximise the value of their built assets; making them more efficient, connected and ready for the future. It helps clients to transform their built environment to meet both short and long-term objectives.
Essentia is part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) that delivers a variety of services to GSTT and this framework will also be free to use for all other public sector bodies and buildings such as those belonging to; central government, health, local authorities, universities & colleges and third sector bodies throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The framework allows contracts to be awarded directly or via mini competition offering clients a quick and flexible way to purchase via the framework. Suppliers appointed will identify and implement LED lighting measures enabling organisations to cut running costs, energy consumption and carbon emissions; help reduce ongoing maintenance costs; as well as improved lighting services through the latest LED technology.
Willie Donaghy, Blackbourne’s Energy Solutions Divisional Manager, said: “We are pleased to have been selected and look forward to working with Essentia and other public sector organisations to deliver cost efficient projects that will help them to reduce energy consumption and meet their carbon reduction targets.”
This framework will run alongside the Essentia Energy Storage framework, on which Blackbourne’s supply partner Powerstar have secured a place, which in turn will help public sector clients reduce energy costs; minimise CO2 emissions and improve energy resilience.
Essentia is a corporate member of the Association for Project Management (APM) and is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). It is also a Crown Commercial Service approved supplier. For more information visit www.essentia.uk.com
